How We Research AI RFP Tools

The data sources, verification process, and multi-pass research workflow behind every tool listing on RFP AI Hub. Transparent and independently sourced.

Research Process

Each tool on RFP AI Hub goes through a structured multi-pass research workflow before being published:

  1. Pass 1 — Core data collection: We gather basic information from the vendor's website: product name, tagline, description, primary use cases, and website URL.
  2. Pass 2 — Feature and pricing deep-dive: We research detailed features, AI capabilities, supported questionnaire types, integrations, pricing model, and pricing details from the vendor's product pages, pricing pages, and documentation.
  3. Pass 3 — Company and competitive context: We collect company background (founded year, funding, headquarters), security certifications, compliance posture, and competitive positioning from vendor pages, press releases, LinkedIn, and third-party review sites (G2, Capterra, TrustRadius).
  4. Pass 4 — Manual verification: A human reviewer checks all data against first-party sources, flags inferred or uncertain claims, and ensures accuracy before publication.

Data Sources

We use the following types of sources, in order of priority:

  • First-party: Vendor website, pricing page, documentation, API docs, security page, blog, press releases
  • Third-party review platforms: G2, Capterra, TrustRadius — for feature verification, user sentiment, and competitive context
  • Public records: LinkedIn (company info, employee count), Crunchbase (funding data), press coverage

Confidence Levels

We track a confidence level for each tool listing. Claims sourced directly from the vendor's website are marked as confirmed. Information inferred from indirect sources (e.g., review sites, feature comparison pages) is marked accordingly. We do not present inferred data as confirmed fact.

Corrections and Updates

If you notice an error in any tool listing, please contact us. We take accuracy seriously and will update listings promptly when presented with evidence. Tool vendors are also welcome to reach out to correct or supplement their listing data.
