Overview

Inventive AI is an AI-native response platform for RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, security questionnaires, portal questionnaires, and narrative proposals. Its current product positions specialized agents across the full workflow: go/no-go analysis, response drafting, compliance and gap review, contradiction detection, content governance, and branded export.

Founded in 2023 and part of Y Combinator Summer 2023, Inventive AI is based in San Francisco. It raised a $4 million seed round in 2024 led by Sierra Ventures, with Y Combinator, SOMA Capital, and General Catalyst participating.

Current first-party material names SharePoint, Google Drive, OneDrive, Confluence, Notion, Salesforce, Slack, Zendesk, and websites among supported knowledge and workflow sources. SAML SSO is documented for Google, Microsoft, Okta, and other identity providers. No public customer API or SCIM documentation was found.

Security & Compliance

Inventive states SOC 2 Type II compliance, AES-256 encryption at rest in AWS, SSL/TLS 1.2 in transit, tenant isolation, SAML SSO, role-based access, audit history, staff 2FA, regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests, and zero-data-retention agreements with OpenAI and Anthropic. It also says customer data is not used to train generalized models. Public residency regions and SCIM provisioning are not documented.

Pricing

Inventive now publishes a starting point of $10,000 per year. It offers one plan with all features and integrations, unlimited users, a fixed platform fee, and usage charges based on RFP/SecQ volume; unused RFP allowance rolls forward. Buyers still request a personalized quote. No current first-party free tier or trial is documented.

Inventive fits mid-market and enterprise proposal, solutions, security, and revenue teams that value AI-native drafting, source traceability, conflict detection, and unlimited collaborators more than a traditional seat-based library product.

Considerations

The $10,000 figure is a starting point rather than a complete price, volume charges require a custom quote, and no public API, SCIM, residency regions, or free trial is documented. G2 sentiment is very strong but the review base remains much smaller than Loopio or Responsive; recurring requests include deeper analytics, reporting, content-usage visibility, and access-management controls.
